What Is Biofeedback?
Biofeedback is defined by Oxford’s online collaboration as “a process whereby electronic monitoring of a normally automatic bodily function is used to train someone to acquire voluntary control of that function.”
Biofeedback ‘therapy’ or ‘training’ is only covered by the NHS under very specific conditions, one of which is pelvic floor muscle training used to treat urinary incontinence in children.
Our services are not currently covered by the NHS, because we render considerably different services than those with which one need consciously cooperate.
What Is Bio-Resonance?
Bio-Resonance and Neurofeedback are both colloquial terms for Electro Magnetic Field Therapy, often abbreviated as “EMF”. It can both measure the body’s electrical signals (same as Biofeedback, EEG and ECG scans) as well as measure electromagnetic frequencies.
The same machine used for measurement is also used to render therapy. EMF or Bio-Resonance Therapy is rendered by emitting electromagnetic waves into the body through the very same electrodes used for measurement. The pictures below show you the Bio-Resonance machine used at The Centre.
What We Do Differently
We go above and beyond Biofeedback, rendering therapy that does not require the patient’s conscious cooperation for efficacy. This means we can achieve improvements to your health and body by emitting electromagnetic waves into the body whilst you relax during treatment. This type of therapy is called Bio-Resonance.
What Is Bio-Resonance Used For?
Bio-Resonance therapy can be used to alieviate the stress and symptoms caused by many ailments, conditions and diseases. Due to the nature of the technology, changes take place gradually in the body. Your own body’s systems take time to re-align and re-balance, therefore restoring health.
More advanced devices such as the one in our clinic can also be used for cosmetic treatments. Here’s a short list of services we render. After consulting your doctor, please contact us if you would like to know whether Bio-Resonance Therapy could help your specific condition.
